Himalayan Buckwheat is a project of Himalayas Organic Foods. Buckwheat being a naturally Gluten Free Crop is an amazing ancient super food which is grown in the high altitude organic villages of Himalayas and karakorum mountains of Gilgit Baltistan. Himalayan Buckwheat products are the same buckwheat sourced and processed by Himalayas Organic Foods from Gilgit Baltistan.

Himalayas Organic Foods aims to bring all the Organic Food products grown in high altitude Organic Villages of Mighty Himalayas and Karakorum mountains of Gilgit Baltistan, to your doorsteps and in turn uplifting the local economies of these villages.

There are hundreds of Organic Villages amidst the Mighty Himalayas and Karakorum mountains of Gilgit Baltistan. These villages still have a clean and pure atmosphere and is pollution free. The people of these villages still grow their crops in organic ways. No GMOs, pesticides, insecticides or artificial fertilizers etc. are used. Natural Organic manure and pure glacier water is used to grow these crops. Himalayas Organic Foods reach out to these farmers and buy the crops from them, process the crops into different products and after packaging is brought straight to your doorsteps.

When the hulls are removed from the raw buckwheat, it’s called Hulled Buckwheat. Hulled Buckwheat is usually used as a cereal and is used in salads and Kasha by cooking it in boiling water.

Buckwheat seeds or grains are usually used to make tea by brewing it after toasting or without toasting.
